Personality: Kiun is a gambler. He treats everything like a game, and never really takes anything all that seriously. He loves the thrill of a gamble, even if he knows he will lose. Kiun is obsessed with cards, and always carries around a deck that he shuffles when he's nervous or excited. He is quick with a joke, and always willing to help someone who looks sad. Kiun hates seeing people sad, it tears him up inside. He is a good-hearted person, but that doesn't mean he wont fight when he has to. History: Kiun was born in June, on a surprisingly hot day. From birth he was a happy child, and was caught laughing through the night in the hospital's nursery. The doctors found this odd, and ran tests to see if anything was wrong with his head. When they found nothing, they shrugged it off and told the parents to seek a counselor if Kiun had any more problems. He was born as Hiromaru Tanaka, and his parents called him Hiro for most of his life. However, one day in middle school he was introduced to a gambling game of cards. Kiun won every game he played that day, and soon became obsessed. He began playing everyone for money, candy, clothes, favors, anything they would bet. Kiun was great at playing any card game, and almost always won. This made him a lot of enemies at a young age. However, Kiun was no pushover and he held his own in a fight. His parents became increasingly less worried when he came home with bruises, and his father would even joke around and ask him if Kiun had made the others look even worse than he did. Kiun would smile and play along, almost never lying when he said that he came out on top.

However, when Kiun got around to the age of sixteen he became obsessed. He always had two decks on him, and he always referred to things as games. His parents became concerned, and treated this as an addiction. They got him help, they took away his cards, and they begged him to stop. Kiun just ignored the help, he would sneak out to play, and he laughed at his parents. It wasn't that he didn't think they cared, or that he didn't know it was a problem. He found it funny because he found everything funny. His parents got fed up with it and grounded him to two places. School and home. Kiun would never go against a grounding, so he just set up an online account and began to gamble online. However, he soon made powerful enemies. More powerful than a high school bully. He had been referring to "Big time players" everyday since his grounding had ended, but his parents hadn't thought anything of it. The enemies he had made threats, threats over money Kiun had won fair and square. Kiun decided to run away, to protect his mother and father. He changed his name, to the alias "Kiun" and ran underground gambling parties for cash. Every week or so he sent money to his parents anonymously. One day, Kiun got a guest that he didn't expect. It was actually two guests. Neither could be seen by the others in the dimly-lit, smoky room. Since he never payed attention to his surroundings, he had passed them off as normal people. However, these two men were not regular people. They wore black kimonos and katanas at their waist. Kiun played them anyway, and beat them nearly forty times before the men became infuriated and drew their blades. Kiun beat them to death his his bare hands, dispatching of them in a river later that night. No one went to the cops about it, no one seemed to care. However, later that night when he was playing a regular, the man told him about the game The World. Kiun instantly fell in love with the concept of the game and ran to buy it. He has been addicted ever since.

The hidden mist is home to three things. Deadly shinobi, a lot of water, and underground organizations. The particular organization being discussed at the moment was a particularly dangerous gambling group. They had several, literally, underground gambling rooms in which they cheated to gain as much money as possible. Anyone who challenged them died, that was that. There was no euphemism there, everyone knew the risk of calling them out. But there was an equal risk of not showing up again. Suddenly, a trap door exploded open; sending soil and water flying everywhere as it broke from its dirty grave. The doors flew off of their hinges, hitting the ground with a light thud. A shadow shot through the hole that they left, the shadow soon forming the shape of a body. The body seemed limp, as if it had been hit so hard that it had been knocked unconscious in the process. He hit the ground with a thump, blood flowing from an open wound in his head, and his eyes rolling to back of his head. A lonely figure stepped from the hole, where there must have been stairs. He wore an interesting outfit of black jeans, a white dress-shirt, a red vest, black tie, and an odd hat. It was bulky and made of red and black cloth, with an ace of spades hanging off like a charm. All over his body were various tattoos and markings, including a pale red cross beneath his eye.

The man was followed by four other men, all armed with weapons. He eyed them, noticing that they were significantly larger than him in both height and girth. Unarmed and outnumbered, his odds of survival were slim to none. The mist lay heavily on the ground, masking its surroundings. In the distant were the foggy sillhouettes of trees, but nothing else could be seen. All around them was a thick, white, fog that blinded them from anything beyond five feet in front of them. Suddenly, the two middle men fell. Grunts escaped their mouths, and their weapons clanged on the ground. Between the two limp bodies was the man previously described. He chuckled and aimed a finger at the next man's neck. He hit a particularly nasty artery, and could feel the poison seeping in. The man screamed in rage, crying out that he had gone blind, and ran into the distance. Cracking his neck, he turned to the last man. Now, the man armed man spoke.
"Kiun, you dirty rat. No one wins here." He said in a voice as deep as a mine.

The man named Kiun barked his laughter, doubling over with the force of it. When he was done he wiped a tear from the corner of his eye and his face broke into a large grin. Opening up his arms as if to offer a hug, he looked at the sky. "Lets play a game." He said in a tone that implied amusement. Suddenly, he was on the man's shoulders. Kiun's powerful legs snaked around the man's massive throat and pulled in. Like steel chords they tightened, snapping his neck and killing him where he stood. Kiun removed himself from the falling corpse and used its back like a spring board. He located the hole once again, and began to walk down the stairs.
